Below is a critique written about Kobi, by Mr Wayne Nicholls Monochrome Kennels after awarding him Best in Show.
"A 3 yr 3month old male of excellent breed type. The exhibit was a well proportioned dog the smooth outline showing quality, gracefulness and perfect balance. This was demonstrated by the flowing line that extended from his head, through the neck and shoulders and along the back, over the croup to the tip of the tail. He had correct height to length ratios and his head dimensions were in correct proportion to his body. He had a correctly constructed head with a well pronouced stop, flat broad skull and muzzle of equal length and in parallel planes to top skull. His eyes are dark and oval being correctly spaced and gave the expression I was looking for, "mild but keen". Effectively correct border collie expression. His moderately long body had a moderately deep and broad chest. With my hand on his prosternum feeling sufficient fore chest and his ribcage reaching the elbow giving me the depth I was feeling for. He had correct length of rib making up his body and had a strong level topline. He had a well angulated forequarter, with the shoulder blade and upper arm being of approximately equal length and cut nearing 45 degrees. His forelegs sitting just under his wither, being well boned and elbows true. His hindquarter is broad and muscular with a good trurn of stifle and strong well let down hocks. On the move he demonstrated good reach and drive. Moving effortlessly with minimum lift of feet. On the day I found him to be the most correct interpretation of the Breed Standard.
